[Commlist] MeCCSA 2024 Conference

Advance notice of the MeCCSA 2024 Conference

The next MeCCSA conference will take place on 4-6th September 2024 at 
Manchester Metropolitan University.

The theme of next year’s conference is “Transcending the Permacrisis” 
which seeks to address the issues related to a permanent state of 
crisis, but also, and perhaps more importantly, aims to discuss possible 
solutions.
The conference welcomes presentations in the form of scholarly papers, 
themed panels, posters, film screenings, installations and other 
practice-based contributions, and we would welcome submissions across 
the full range of interests represented by MeCCSA.   Particular focus 
will be placed on interdisciplinary approaches that allow for a 
multi-faceted interrogation of phenomena related to the permacrisis.
We welcome submissions aligned either with the conference theme or any 
area covered by MeCCSA and its networks.
The deadline for submissions will be January 16th 2024 and the full CFP 
with submission details will be posted here shortly.
