Thank you for your support on our first call for papers <https://universitimalaya.academia.edu/HueyFenCheong>(see the 1st CFP for the general concept/idea of the book series). Having reviewed the chapter proposals, we're still lacking a number of topics in the book, *_/Future of Media in Asia. /_*Our topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

  * Media freedom
  * Media literacy
  * Media ethics
  * Artificial Intelligence
  * Digital Technology
  * Media Practice

The tentative timeline of the book project is as follows:

Mid-December 2023           Chapter proposal/Abstract submission

End of Dec 2023                Announcement of chapter proposal/abstract acceptance

Jan – Mar 2024                  Chapter writing (3 months)

April 2024                          Manuscript submission to editors

May 2024                           Peer reviews and revision

June - July 2024                 Book draft submission to the publisher

October 2024                     Estimated publication (if it’s short form publication; in 3 months)

January 2025                     Estimated publication (if it’s a bigger book size; in 6 months)
