[Commlist] CFP: Adaptations Conference

Those interested in Adaptations of all kinds may be interested in the 
Adaptation Studies Association's conference to be held from7-9 June at 
the University of Birmingham. UK.

The keynote speaker is Professor Kristen Warner from the Department of 
Telecommunication and Film at The University of Alabama. Her research 
interests centre on the juxtaposition of televisual racial 
representation and its place within the media industries, particularly 
within the practice of casting. She will be talking 
on'Plastic, Plastic Everywhere: Locating Cultural Specificity in the 
Time of Plastic Representation'

  Those not presenting are welcome to attend the conference with 1, 2, 
and 3 day options for attendance.
