[Commlist] Open call for PhD Position on fake news, conspiracy ideologies etc.

We are announcing a four-year fully funded PhD position at Umeå 
University, Sweden. The position is affiliated with the research school 
ReSource, and the PhD will be working at DIGSUM's home department 
(https://digsum.org <https://digsum.org>)


ReSource takes as its starting point the current “crisis of 
information,” characterised by, among other things, the proliferation of 
misinformation and conspiracy ideologies, the commercialisation of the 
public information infrastructure, the entry of AI technologies into 
more and more areas, and the increasing distrust of traditionally 
trusted institutions. Submitted research plans should be in any of these 
areas.
