Call for papers: Scientific engagement and reflexivity of journalism 
researchers

This call for papers particularly focuses on the engagement of 
researchers who work with journalistic objects and fields of study, 
inviting them to question norms, practices and research methods 
implemented in their studies either supported by or confronted with 
their engaged positions

We encourage participants to reflect on their position as a researcher 
(whether academic, specialist, engaged, activist, neutral observer, or 
involved observer) and to explore the forms and methods of reflection 
regarding their engagement with research and their journalistic object

The deadline for submitting the full manuscripts (30 to 50,000 
characters, including notes and bibliography) is September 1st, 2023, at 
(slj /at/ ulb.be) <mailto:(slj /at/ ulb.be)> or directly on the website.

No payment from the authors will be required.
