Given the release of a SECOND Call for Proposals for the 2015 CSA
Conference, we are recirculating this sub-call with an extended
deadline. Now folks have until February 1, 2015 to submit their proposals.
Call For Proposals: The Life and Work of Stuart Hall
Thirteenth Annual Meeting of the Cultural Studies Association, Another
University Is Possible: Praxis, Activism, and the Promise of Critical
Pedagogy,
Riverside Convention Center, Riverside, Greater Los Angeles Area,
California, 21-24 May, 2015
We would like to organize several sessions on the life and work of the
late Stuart Hall during/for the 13th Annual Meeting of the Cultural
Studies Association, to be held at the Riverside Convention Center,
Riverside, Greater Los Angeles Area, California, 21-24 May, 2015.
All papers engaging the life, work, and pedagogy of the late Stuart Hall
are welcome, especially papers and sessions (roundtables, seminars, and
panels) that examine how Hall's thought and practice contributed to
cultural studies and the new left.
