Dear colleague,

We cordially invite you to submit a paper to be included in a forthcoming e-book titled “Organizational and Strategic Communication Research”, to be published in 2013. The E-book (with ISBN) will be published online in the LabCom/UBI platform and free to download.

At the 4th ECREA Conference in Istanbul, the OSC Section approved more than 40 communications and 10 posters. Under the conference theme, "Social media and global voices", the proposals referred to the influence of different forms of public communication, including public relations, advertising, branding and internal communication. With this e-book we attempt to keep alive the debate initiated in Istanbul by assembling papers presented at the 4th ECREA conference in the following panels:

- Organisational strategies and social media

- Online communities: key issues and research methodologies

- Institutional capacities and crisis management

- Social media actors and communication technologies

- Crisis communication and reputational risks

- Sustainable communication, critical issues, stakeholder approach

- Reputation management: critical themes

- Corporate communication and branding through social media
