CFP: Who is He Now? The Unearthly David Bowie
In this Special Edition of the Forum Section of the journal Celebrity
Studies, we are seeking papers that explore the stardom and celebrity of
David Bowie. With his latest album reviewed as one of the great rock
comebacks ever, the release of a series of portentous music videos that
recall and reflect upon his artistic career, and the forthcoming
record-breaking David Bowie Is exhibition at the V&A in London, the
editors consider this to be a perfect moment to assess who Bowie is now?
The editors of this special edition solicit short papers of 1,000 to
