Call for articles: YECREA special issue of Platform: Journal of Media
and Communication

YECREA, the Young Scholars' Network of the European Communication
Research and Education Association, and Platform: Journal of Media and
Communication would like to invite submissions for a special YECREA
issue of Platform, a fully refereed, open access online graduate
journal. The special issue is built up around the ECREA organized
European Communication Conference (12-15 October 2010, Hamburg) and will
include a selection of the work by young scholars presented at the
Hamburg conference and its pre-conferences. The call is open to all
ECREA young scholars presenting a paper at the 2010 ECC or its
pre-conferenecs. Work related to any of ECREA's thematic sections is
welcomed.

Guest editors for this issue are Benjamin De Cleen, Alenka Jelen, and
Julie Uldam. Articles will be submitted to a double blind peer-review.

Deadline for article submissions is 15 December 2010. Submissions and
enquiries should be sent to (benjamin.de.cleen /at/ vub.ac.be)

Articles should be between 6000 and 8000 words, endnotes and reference
list included. Submission should be written in the Platform house style
(APA reference style, endnotes rather than footnotes, UK English). For
