REWRITES: STUDYING LITERARY, SCREEN AND MUSIC CULTURES

'Rewrites' will explore the ways in which 
critical, creative and cultural work engages in 
different forms of representing, adapting and 
reworking written, visual and aural material in particular situations.
Keynotes:
Professor David Hesmondhalgh (University of Leeds) 'Music, Sex and Politics'
Dr Rinella Cere (Sheffield Hallam 
University)  ?Cinematic Re-writes: Film in Museums?
Panels on popular music, screen cultures and 
literary rewrites featuring papers by research 
students and recent doctorates from Leeds Met, 
York, Sheffield Hallam and Leeds University.
Cost: £15 (£8 students) including sandwich 
lunch. To avail of lunch, you must book online
