Tips for Online Submission for Singapore!
INDIVIDUAL SUBMITTING A PAPER, POSTER, OR EXTENDED ABSTRACT? Have your document ready to upload! You MUST upload a paper, poster for the interactive paper session, or extended abstract in order to complete the submission process. Before submitting your document, remember to remove all author identification from the text, cover page, and the file properties. (In the "File" menu select "Properties," delete any identifying information, click "OK," and save the document.)
INDIVIDUAL SUBMITTING A PANEL SESSION PROPOSAL? Plan ahead!
The panel organizer submits the panel proposal, and enters all of the panel information including each participant. Please SEARCH THE DATABASE FOR THE PARTICIPANTS you want to add. ENTER ONLY 2 OR 3 LETTERS OF THE FIRST AND LAST NAMES WHEN SEARCHING. This will minimize the possibility of missing someone because of a 'special' character in their names. Creating a second record for a person already in the data base will cause problems down the road. In the Panel Description field enter the text of your panel proposal including rationale, presentation authors and titles, and abstracts or any other information mentioned in the Call for Papers. You can do this by copying and pasting the text of the panel proposal from your word document. CONSIDER SUBMITTING A POSTER FOR THE SCHOLAR TO SCHOLAR INTERACTIVE PAPER (POSTER) SESSION! Most ICA divisions and interest groups are accepting poster submissions this year. The Singapore ICA conference will feature at least one Plenary Scholar to Scholar Interactive Paper (Poster) Session. If you would like your presentation to benefit from the advantages of this highly visual, interactive format, consider submitting a poster.
ICA AFFILIATE ORGANIZATIONS SHOULD SUBMIT ONLINE!
ICA Member Associations are entitled to at least one panel program at the Singapore conference. The highest ranking elected officer or designated program planner of each Member Association is invited to submit a panel proposal through the online submission system by the November 2 submission deadline. Follow the instructions for submitting a panel session and submit under Sponsored Sessions.
Help is available!
If you need help with online submission, contact the appropriate ICA division or interest group program planner. Contact information is listed in the Call for Papers. All divisions and interest groups are accepting only electronic submissions.
