> Participants are invited to a one-day Korean Film symposium taking place at
> Nottingham Trent University (Clifton campus) on Monday the 16th of November
> 2009. The day will close with a plenary session by Julian Stringer and Nikki
> J. Y. Lee who will present an historical overview of issues in Korean film
> history and Korean film studies in relation to material recently made
> available by the Korean Film Archive.

> Participation may take the form of a twenty-minute research paper
> presentation on Korean cinema OR attendance at the symposium. This is a free
> event (including refreshments) but places are limited both for attendance
> and presentation. Please send a 500 abstract or confirmation of attendance
