THE 1ST AUTUMN CONFERENCE OF INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL
INTERACTION SECTION OF ECREA

Keynote speakers:
* Professor Brant Burleson, Purdue University, USA
"Supportive Communication in Close Relationships: Similarities
and Differences across Cultures"
* Professor Owen Hargie, University of Ulster, Northern Ireland
"Training Professional Communication Skills: Research, Theory and Practice"
The autumn conference centers around three themes and 31 papers will
be presented on these themes:
* Interpersonal communication and social interaction in close relationships,
* Interpersonal communication and social interaction in professional context
* Mediated interpersonal communication.
In addition, there will be a workshop of the ECREA Young Scholar
Network (YECREA) on Thursday afternoon.
Registration and the conference fee paid by 30th September 2009. 50 ?
for those participants who do not present a paper. The registration
fee includes the programme and free admission to Get Together. No
registration fee for those participants who present their own paper or
those who are co-authors of the paper.
