The 8th IFIP Conference on e-Business, e-Services, and e-Society will be held from September 24-26, 2008, in Tokyo, Japan. Being sponsored by IFIP WG 6.11 in cooperation with TC 11 and TC 8, it will provide a forum for users, engineers, and scientists in academia, industry, and government to present their latest findings in e-Business, e-Services, and e-Society applications and in the underlying technology to support these applications.
From submitted papers, thirty papers, including twenty-six for the research track and four for the industrial and administration track, were accepted for presentation at I3E 2008 and publication by Springer Science & Business Media within IFIP series. The accepted papers cover various aspect of sustainable society on ubiquitous networks, including user behavior models, security and trust, P2P, SOA, Web autonomy, legal and ethical issues, societal and cultural issues, and practices on government systems.

VENUE
The conference venue is the National Center of Sciences in central Tokyo, one of the world?fs largest cities of high technology, commerce, culture, and fashion. The Center is in front of the Emperor's Palace and within 30 minutes of almost all of the highlights of Tokyo, including Akihabara electric town, Tsukiji fish market, the Shogun's garden, and the National Museum.
