cinema. To this end, the different chapters explore a wide variety of 
topics, ranging from industrial aspects to gender issues, as well as 
/auteur/ analysis. The study of key films and directors, as well as the 
industrial and cultural contexts, allows for a nuanced understanding of 
the genre’s evolu­tion and its significance in contemporary Spanish 
society. Overall, this book contributes to broader discussions on the 
intersections of aesthetics, industry and cultural identity in cinema 
and television.
