*Predoctoral Researcher FPI*

Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) and the Department of 
Communication, in collaboration with the UC3M MediaLab Research Group, 
are pleased to announce a job opportunity for a pre-doctoral researcher. 
This contract has a duration of 4 years and is full-time. The selected 
person will have the opportunity to develop a doctoral thesis linked to 
an innovative project on "Pseudoscience, conspiracy theories, fake news 
and media literacy in health communication", as well as to participate 
in academic and research activities. This is an exceptional opportunity 
to be part of a research team and contribute to the advancement of 
knowledge in the field of Communication.

**

*Requirements:*

  * Master's degree, master student or equivalent in a field related to
    Communication, Social Sciences or related fields.
  * Interest and motivation to develop a doctoral thesis in a research
    area relevant to the project "Pseudoscience, conspiracy theories,
    fake news and media literacy in health communication".
  * Research skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  * Fluency in English, both in oral and written expression.
  * Previous experience in research and participation in projects will
    be an asset.
  * In addition, experience in these areas will be assessed:
    misinformation, media literacy, education, quantitative skills in
    data analysis in social media and other media formats.
