the field of science communication on Artificial Intelligence (AI). It
is our acclaimed goal to explore how an educated social and critical

The advertised position coordinates the evaluation activities of the
RHET AI Center. It is part of the "Communicative Competence Unit", led

This unit has developed and implemented a training program for AI
researchers to strengthen their competencies in the field of science
communication. The unit also collaborates closely with the center’s
"Public Engagement Unit".
Your task is to conceptualize, carry out and analyze evaluations of the
RHET AI training program as well as its public engagement events. In
quantitative and qualitative studies, you will examine how researchers
acquire communicative competence and how this is used in local as well
as nationwide formats of science communication and public engagement. In
doing so, you will also consider the impact of RHET AI’s science
communication measures.
The position and its associated scientific environment offer excellent
opportunities not only for networking within the interdisciplinary
research center and its partners, but also for presenting your ideas and
results in the context of national and international conferences.
Supported by the publication of the results of your research in relevant

the public service in the federal states of Germany (pay group 13 TV‑L),
including the social benefits customary in public service. This position
is suitable for part-time work.
In case of an extension of the Center's funding, the position is
also renewable.
Your Profile

Empirical Educational Research, Educational Science or an adjacent field
of study.
Knowledge of quantitative research data (e.g., SPSS, R).

impact measurement. Experience with the topic of Artificial Intelligence
is beneficial.
