Introduction
The rise of Over-the-Top (OTT) media has disrupted traditional media
consumption and production models, presenting new challenges and
opportunities for media professionals, policymakers, and scholars. The
edited volume titled “The Rise of Over-the-Top (OTT) Media and
Implications for Media Consumption and Production” aims to provide a
comprehensive guide to this rapidly growing area, with a specific focus
on media and communication studies. The book will cover a wide range of
topics, including the technological infrastructure of OTT services,
production practices of films and series, and distribution strategies,
regulatory and policy issues, and the social and cultural implications
of OTT media. There is a need of understanding and revisiting the visual
media from an point of view of OTT media.
Objective
The Rise of Over-the-Top (OTT) Media and Implications for Media

14, 2023*, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining
the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be
notified by *June 28, 2023* about the status of their proposals and sent
chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by *July
28, 2023*, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for
manuscript submissions at

prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a
double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve

are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
