We wish to recruit a Lecturer in Digital Media and Communication in the
School of Arts, Social Sciences and Management.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver excellent teaching and
pursue innovative research in the field of digital media and
communications. The candidate will be a committed educator, supervisor
and outstanding communicator and will be expected to contribute to a
range of teaching, research, pastoral, and administrative activities
across the division. You will be passionate about the student experience
and will be committed to a teaching approach that integrates theory and
practice.
This post is open to applicants with a specific specialism in digital
media and communications. In particular we welcome applications from
individuals who can offer expertise in any of the following areas:
digital content creation, internet and social media and research
methods, digital promotional media (public relations, advertising,
marketing), digital and mobile journalism, participatory or
community-based media, digital and data literacy, digital platform
analytics and digital data visualization.
