The University of Bristol’s School of Arts seeks to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Film, Television and Digital Screen Arts <https://www.bristol.ac.uk/jobs/find/details/?jobId=211955&jobTitle=Senior%20Lecturer%20in%20Film,%20Television%20and%20Digital%20Screen%20Arts> commencing 1st September 2021. The appointee will have a research track record in the area of digital arts, and any experience of teaching and research activity in interactive media and/or immersive technologies is also welcomed. The appointee will play a key role in the development of an innovative, new BA in Digital Arts and the Moving Image in the Department of Film and Television.

The appointee should have proven experience in teaching and convening theory, criticism, history and/or creative film-making practice at undergraduate and postgraduate level with a Film and TV studies base. Knowledge and experience of recent and current technological developments and trends in film, television and digital arts is essential for this role, with a specialisation in one or more of 2D/3D digital animation, CGI, motion graphics, visual effects, virtual/augmented reality, immersive technologies or related areas. The successful candidate will have built up a strong profile, demonstrable through their teaching, research projects, grant capture and publications.
