Deakin University's School of Communication and Creative Arts is seeking
to appoint three new continuing lecturers in the Communication academic
group:

*LECTURER IN COMMUNICATION (ADVERTISING)*
*SALARY RANGE: *$95,488 to $112,940 pa (plus 17% super)
*EMPLOYMENT TYPE: *Full-time and continuing
*LOCATION: *Melbourne Burwood Campus
*ABOUT THE ROLE*
The School of Communication and Creative Arts is seeking to appoint to a
continuing position in the Communication academic group a lecturer with
expertise in *advertising *who will teach into the Bachelor of
Communication and the Master of Communication.
This will include:
* Providing an excellent contribution to the School’s teaching and
research programs.
* Exhibiting and/or publishing high quality research in journals of
high repute.
* Contributing to the achievement of Deakin’s strategic goals in
research, teaching, engagement and innovation.
* Contributing to the research achievement of the School.
*ABOUT YOU *
* PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications
and experience.
* Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in undergraduate
and/or postgraduate programs, including innovative curriculum design.
* Emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications
and/ or exhibitions and/or success in obtaining external research
funding.
* Demonstrated expertise in the professional practice of advertising,
and in applying these skills in teaching and/or research.
