Popular/American Culture Association
in Albuquerque, New Mexico, February 10-13, 2016.

    ï‚· Issues of race, ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality and popular

In the last decade there has been a dedicated exploration of popular
culture as it relates to aspects of philosophy, and how philosophy
relates to popular culture, and as such we welcome proposals that
investigate and examine the intersections between philosophy and popular
culture. Any and all aspects of philosophy and popular culture will be
considered.

Possible topics include but are not limited to:

The conference organizers are particularly interested in graduate
student presentations (as well as those of independent scholars, in
order to make the conference as inclusive as possible). As such, the
conference has a number of awards for graduate student papers. For more

We also would like to encourage contribution to Dialogue: The
Interdisciplinary Journal of Popular Culture and Pedagogy, a
peer-reviewed publication of the Southwest Popular/American Culture
Association. The Journal debuted at the Southwest Popular/American
