Job opportunity within the School of Arts and Media with expertise in the area of media and performance.

We have an excellent record of working with the professional creative industries, for engaging with communities and for equipping students with the skills to enter a range of professions. We take an interdisciplinary approach to the subject areas and to the areas of live and recorded performance and the successful applicant will be someone who approaches their teaching and scholarship similarly. The successful candidate will make a significant contribution to the delivery of teaching, with a developing research profile and/or professional experience and the ability to respond to cultural shifts and new media as they impact.

In particular the candidate must have proven experience of teaching in one or more of the following areas - TV / Film production, TV Directing, Scriptwriting, Video Editing, Acting for TV, Radio Performance and Production, Presenting for TV/Radio. The candidate must also be able to demonstrate experience of or ability to undertake curriculum development, module coordination and programme leadership.
