1 FULL TIME PROFESSOR IN JOURNALISM AND PUBLIC OPINION





The School of Social and Human Sciences is seeking an associate full 
time professor for both academic and research responsibilities in the 
undergraduate and graduate programs in Journalism and the graduate 
degrees of the School of Social and Human Sciences.



QUALIFICATIONS



1.     A Ph.D. in Journalism, Communications, or one of the disciplines 
of the School of Social and Human Sciences. The candidate has to have at 
least one degree in journalism or communications.



2.     The person in this position needs to show and provide evidence of 
research in the areas of journalism and digital communications in the 
last five years. To do so, the candidate needs to provide sample 
articles and letters that attest to his/her participation in such 
research projects.



3.     The applicant has to provide evidence of his/her experience in 
the production and execution of journalism work in digital media within 
the last five years.



4.     It will be taken into consideration the fact that the candidate 
has academic experience such as the management of academic programs or 
research groups in journalism, the development of programs in journalism 
or communications such as broadcasting or media, and both national and 
international academic mobility.



5.     Provide evidence of 10 years of academic experience and *15 
points worth of academic publications according to the university 
regulations.



6.     He/she needs to certify proficiency in a second language by means 
of an international accredited exam. The candidate can also present a 
degree with graduate studies in a language other than his/her native.
