[ecrea] PRism Global Public Relations special issue now online

Tue Dec 15 05:59:37 GMT 2009

The prize-winning PRism journal special issue on global public relations, edited by Mark Balnaves, James Grunig and James Mahoney, is now available at <http://praxis.massey.ac.nz/global_pr.html>http://praxis.massey.ac.nz/global_pr.html

With theory-building contributions from Grunig and Sriramesh, and diverse case studies from around the world (all freely available online at no charge to you, your students, or your institution), Mark and his team have produced a topical and thought-provoking issue on the ways that globalisation is changing (or perhaps needs to change) public relations scholarship and practice.

If you'd like to join the free-access online research publication movement, PRism currently has two calls for papers for next year's special issues, on Gender and Public Relations (see <http://praxis.massey.ac.nz/cfp_gender.html>http://praxis.massey.ac.nz/cfp_gender.html) and Online Social Networks, Communication Practice, and Public Relations (see <http://praxis.massey.ac.nz/cfp_socialnet.html>http://praxis.massey.ac.nz/cfp_socialnet.html). The editors of these special issues would love to hear from you now with an expression of interest if you're thinking about contributing in the new year. Critical and interdisciplinary articles are welcomed.

PRism (ISSN 1448-4404) is a free-access, online, peer-refereed public relations and communication research journal.
