Dear Colleagues,

Polish and German Safer Internet Centres warmly invite you to attend the 3rd International Conference ?Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online?.

Where, when
The event will take place in Warsaw at the Marriott Hotel on September 29-30.

Themes

The following topics, among others, will be discussed at the event:

§         What is information and media literacy
§         New Media Education: Web 2.0 for Children and Families
§ The parents' responsibility in their kids' media education - their view and their role
§         Internet of Things ? challenges in child online protection
§         Technical aspects of online safety
§         Understanding Offender Online Grooming Behaviour
§ Using blocking to combat online child abuse images: necessary protection or unjustified restriction?
§         Shaping EU legislation against Internet-related child sexual abuse
§         Helplines - responding to online risks


Registration

Deadline is September 4.

Other issues
The event will bring together 450 ? 500 representatives from the education sector, NGOs, law enforcement, government and industry.
There is no conference fee; lunch and coffee breaks will be provided.
The languages of the conference will be English and Polish. Simultaneous translation will be provided.

Accommodation
There are preferential rates for delegates at the Marriott hotel:

Single room ? 420 PLN
Double room ? 460 PLN
