App= lications are invited for a part-time PhD funded studentship in
the = Lancashire Business School. The bursary is tenable for up to 6
years = (subject to satisfactory progress) with an expected
commencement date of 1 = October 2009. The bursary will cover the
cost of tuition fees at UK/EU = rates plus project consumables.
International applicants may apply but = will be required to pay the
difference between UK/EU and International = fees.
We = welcome applications to undertake the following project located
in the = Lancashire Business School=E2=80=99s Division of Public
Relations and = Communication Management:
Rethinking internal communication measurement

The= PhD project concerns work to develop a new internal
communication = research instrument. The project responds to
limitations of existing = research methods for studying internal
communication which fail to = adequately distinguish between
different dimensions of internal communicati= on.
App= licants should have, or expect to receive, an upper second
class or first = class honours degree or a Masters degree in a
related discipline (for = example: public relations, communication
management, marketing, corporate = reputation management, business
communication).
