Dear colleagues, Some updated information about the Oxford Internet Institute Summer Doctoral Programme is below. Please note applications close next Monday. Jean New scholarship funding is now available for the 2009 Summer Doctoral Programme 'Creativity, Innovation and the Internet' to be held in Brisbane in collaboration with the QUT Creative Industries Faculty in July. The funding will cover one full or two half scholarships (fees only) and will be available to support students who would not otherwise be able to attend. We're also delighted to announce that programme tutors will include Nancy Baym, Stuart Cunningham, Gerard Goggin, John Hartley, Stephanie Hemelryk Donald, Jack Linchuan Qiu, and Jo Tacchi. Together with other participating tutors, these faculty members will lead a programme that will cover topics such as the growth and implications of user-generated content, citizen media and community journalism, and regulatory barriers to innovation online. The full list of tutors includes faculty from the OII and the Berkman Center, who have taught on the Programme since its establishment in 2003, and is still being updated. The application process closes on Monday 16 February 2009. For further information and an application form see: http://www.oii.ox.ac.uk/teaching/sdp/Y2009.cfm
