Fri Dec 05 14:24:24 GMT 2003

Screen Studies Conference 2004
organised by Screen journal

University of Glasgow
Scotland
2-4 July 2004

CALL FOR PAPERS

The 14th international Screen Studies Conference will offer a mix of
keynote addresses, panels and workshop sessions

Please note that this is, as usual, an open call for papers, which may be
on any topic in screen studies.

We are, however, particularly interested in forming a strand within this
conference on the subject of
the child in film and television.
Papers in this area are therefore particularly welcome.

Please send us your 200-word proposal to arrive no later than Monday 30
January 2004

Panel submissions of up to four speakers are also welcome.

Proposals and enquiries to Caroline Beven, preferably by e-mail:
(screen /at/ arts.gla.ac.uk)

Mark subject box 'Conference 2004'

You may also send proposals by post:

or by fax:

Acceptance of papers will be sent out around the end of February.

Once decided, details of the 2004 conference programme and a registration
form will be posted on this website. If you are not already on our mailing
list, please send us your details and you will receive any future
information by e-mail.

Until then, you could check out the programme and abstracts from the most
recent Screen Studies Conference.

You can view a list of all Screen Studies Conference 2003 accepted speakers
and papers, including details of panel titles and abstracts.
