CALL FOR PAPERS
Organising Committee of the Faculty of Economics Sarajevo invites authors to submit their papers for the Conference.
Acceptance of a paper implies that at least one of the authors must attend the Conference and present the paper.
q Topics of Interest
The International Conference on Economic Transition will be focused on the processes of economic, business and social transition in the Central and Eastern European countries, with a wide range of issues. Contributed papers may deal with, but are not limited to:
- Macroeconomic Aspects of Transition: Privatisation, Globalisation, Development, Growth, Integration, Foreign Investments, Monetary Strategies, Fiscal Policies, Financial Systems
- Transition Aspects in Management, Manufacturing and Business Administration: Competitive Strategies, Virtual Business, Agile Management, Mass Customisation, Agile Manufacturing, e-Business, IT in Economics and Development, Marketing Strategies, Financial Management, Entrepreneurship, SME
- Economic Transition, Political Developments and Social Transition
- Case of Bosnia and Herzegovina
q Paper format
Papers should be sent in Microsoft Word for Windows (6.0 or higher) no later than 1st August 2002 to (ices /at/ efsa.unsa.ba)
Papers are limited to a length of five pages. A paper must include a clear indication of the purpose of the research, the research method, major results, implications and key references. Papers will be reviewed using a blind process and authors will be notified of acceptance in late August 2002.
q Guidelines for authors
- Maximum total length: five pages.
- Margins: all 2.5 cm or 1 inch, single-spaced, 12pt Times New Roman.
- First page, top half: Title, Author(s), Affiliation(s), Address(es), Telephone and fax number(s), E-mail(s), Track indication, Abstract (no more than 100 words), Key Words (no more than four words).
- First page, bottom half: start of text. The text should be aligned on left margin.
- The Title of the paper should be centred, in bold capital letters. Section headings should be numbered in appropriate order, flush left, in capital letters.
- Tables and figures should be included in the text.
- References should be indicated in the text by consecutive numbers (endnotes).
