*Special Issue Announcement: Knowledges of Emancipation: Narratives of Resistance and the Amplification of Global Majority Voices* The /Journal of Ethnic and Cultural Studies/ announces the publication of its latest special issue (Vol. 11 No. 5), /Knowledges of Emancipation: Narratives of Resistance and the Amplification of Global Majority Voices/. Co-edited by Dr. Youmna Deiri (Texas A&M International University) and Dr. Maha Bashri (United Arab Emirates University), this interdisciplinary issue bridges research in communication and education to explore the intersections of colonial power, resistance, and postcolonial healing. This issue introduces *tectonic intimacies*, a concept capturing the interplay of violence, resistance, and transformation in knowledge production. Through narratives of survival, cultural assertion, and collective care, the contributors challenge dominant frameworks and amplify the voices of the Global Majority.
