[Commlist] Call for Workshop Proposals – ICIDS 2025 - International Conference on Interactive Digital Storytelling
Tue May 13 22:39:57 GMT 2025
We are pleased to announce the Call for Workshop Proposals for the 18th
*International Conference on Interactive Digital Storytelling (ICIDS
2025)*, to be held in Malta from the *1st to the 5th of December, 2025*.
ICIDS is the premier international conference for researchers,
practitioners, and artists working on interactive digital narratives
(IDNs). This year's theme, *Kaleidoscopic Machines*, invites us to
explore the dynamic interplay between AI and human creativity in the
realm of storytelling.
*Workshop Proposals*
We invite proposals for workshops that offer participants a focused and
interactive environment to delve into specific topics within the field
of interactive digital storytelling. Workshops can vary in format and
should aim to foster discussion, collaboration, and innovation. We
encourage workshop organizers to consider our theme this year,
*Kaleidoscopic Machines*, and consider its relevance in terms of the
workshop proposals (more about the theme is available on the general CFP
for ICIDS 2025, available at https://icids2025.ardin.online
<https://icids2025.ardin.online>).
*Submission Guidelines*
Proposals for workshops should be 2-5 pages including references in the
Springer LNCS format. Please include the following information:
*
A brief description of the workshop, explaining its format, goals,
topic, and expected outcomes (maximum two pages, according to the

*
A proposed schedule.
*
The names, affiliations, email addresses and short bios of the

*
The primary contact for the organizing committee.
