[Commlist] Video Game Monster Conference

On this monstrous month, MultiPlay is hosting a special online conference all on video game monsters!

MultiPlay's 2 hour online event will feature a showcase of the best video game monster scholarship. There will be presentations and Q&A panels. Details to follow soon.The talks are as follows:

**Modernity and Monstrosity in BioShock******- Ewan Kirkland, Senior Lecturer in Critical Studies University for the Creative Arts**Monsters and Ghosts in Chinese Horror Independent Games**- Luo Haoxi, PhD candidate in Cultural Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong

**Redefining Monstrosity: Compassion and Duty in 'Spiritfarer'**- Noah Glaser, assistant professor at the University of Missouri’s School of Information Science & Learning Technologies, Maggie Center, Non-Binary Autistic consultant and educator, Lucas Jensen, an Associate Professor of Instructional Technology at Georgia Southern University, Alex Davidson, Doctoral student in Special Education at the University of Missouri, & Tugce Aldemir, an assistant professor in STEM at Teaching, Learning, and Culture Department at Texas A&M University.

**Footsteps approaching: 3D Monster Maze and a UK gaming industry**-
