Cfp: TURCOM Special Issue on "The Future of Communication in the Next
Century"
Turkish Review of Communication Studies (TURCOM) is a peer-reviewed and
open-access journal that publishes articles, commentaries, and reviews
in the fields of media, communication, and cultural studies. Based in
Marmara University Faculty of Communication, Istanbul, the journal is
published biannually in June and December and is currently indexed by
Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
We are currently calling for papers for our special issue which is
scheduled for February 2024. The theme for our special issue is “The
Future of Communications the Next Century” to mark the 100th Anniversary
of the Republic of Türkiye. Articles from diverse fields within media
and communication studies with a special focus on the current
developments, new achievements, contemporary trends and potential future
transformations are welcome, from national and/or global perspectives.
The authors can submit articles (up to 8000 words), book reviews (max.
2000 words), or commentaries and criticisms (max. 2000 words).
The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2023, 17.00. We accept
submissions through our website, https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/turcom
(submit article button).

TURCOM is an open-access journal and no fee is required to submit and
publish articles.
