Sat Dec 24 18:32:56 GMT 2022
Brazilian Journalism Research (BJR) is a scientific publication released
by the Brazilian Association of Journalism Researchers (SBPJor). The
journal is open-access and charges no publication fees from authors.
We invite you to submit your research paper for the edition 2023
(December) - Vol. 19, n. 3: Militant, Activist and Combat Journalism
The central aim is to discuss the role of journalism and journalists in
the social context in which they are immersed: "Militancy and activism
resurface in the form of an engaged and upright journalism, often
performative in face of communities which it represents. In face of
social tension, taking a stand stops being a deontological transgression
and it is perceived as a badge of courage, consciousness and
professional integrity".
