Role of Media in Poverty Alleviation and Social Justice
( *February 24-25, 2020* )*

AMCAP-BUKC 2020 International conference aims to appraise the role of 
media in (re)creating discourses on poverty alleviation and social 
justice. It aspires to bring in debates on economic development 
indicators and increasing social injustice in the discourses on poverty 
alleviation. Furthermore, it will address issues of illiteracy, 
population explosion,debt trap, extremism, and political apathy in a 
holistic manner.

We seek academic and conceptual *papers* and *panels* in the following 
but not limited to these sections:

• *Gender and Media*
• *Media Culture and Society*
• *Media Ethics*
• *Digital Media*
• *Media Education*
• *Film Studies**
