its Book Reviews section.*/animation/ is an international, peer-reviewed 
journal that brings together research in film and media studies, 
architecture, art and design, visual culture and creative practice. The 
journal promotes academic dialogue mapping the interdisciplinary nature 
of animation studies. Our Book Reviews section features critical 
engagements with leading scholarship in the field and its 
interdisciplinary crossovers and welcomes publication reviews from 
established and emerging scholars. In addition to books in English, the 
journal strongly encourages reviews of texts published in other languages.

Reviews are typically in the 1200-word range. For sample reviews, please 
consult recent issues of the journal//(http://anm.sagepub.com/). If you 
are interested in reviewing a book listed below for the journal, or 
another recent publication, *_please send an email_* including 1) the 
book’s title, 2) your affiliation, 3) a brief description of your 
suitability for reviewing the book and 4) a statement of impartiality
