*2^nd and 3^rd March 2016, BFI Southbank and Friends House*

The Colour Group GB with the BFI and Hochscule fur Technik and
Wirtschaft, Berlin are organising the first international conference
about Colour on Film focusing on issues around colour film restoration,
and how and where these relate to the discipline of colour science.
The Conference will open on March 2^nd , 2016, 14.00 in London at BFI
Southbank with specially selected colour film screenings contextualised
by expert introductions, as well as an opening reception, and then
continue with all-day presentations on March 3^rd , 9.00-18.30 at
Friends House.. Keynote speakers include Prof. Barbara Flueckiger
(University of Zurich /,/ European Research Council project /Film Color
-. Bridging the Gap Between Technology and Aesthetics/), Prof. Andrew
Stockman (/Colour & Vision Research Labs/ database), and Prof. Sarah
Street (University of Bristol, Leverhulme Trust research project,
/Colour in the 1920s: Cinema and Its Intermedial Contexts/).
