*Registration open: Climate Change Communication workshop at the
University of Leicester*
We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the MECCSA
workshop 'Climate Change Communication & the Internet: Challenges and
Opportunities for Research', which will be held on 12 April 2013 at the
Department of Media and Communication Studies, University of Leicester,
UK. The international workshop focuses on some of the key challenges in
researching Internet-based communication on climate change and climate
politics, and the ways in which different methodological perspectives
can be further developed to examine the use of online and social media
by various stakeholders.

Registration fee covers lunch and refreshments and is £20 for staff and
£12 for postgraduate students. Registration closes 1 March 2013.
This event brings together leading scholars in the fields of media
studies, science communication, information science, and
computer-mediated communication to critically explore these issues.
