Transmission: Hospitality aims to address the relation between the various =
modes of analysis and communication that comprehend art. This conference wi=
ll be set in a transdisciplinary and transcultural context where dialogues =
between artists, writers, critics, curators, and academics will be welcomed=
 as a method for generating, mediating, and reflecting experience and knowl=
edge about the way art is received.

Keywords
Host: art and responsibility, art and ethics, art and psychoanalysis, cultu=
res of curating, hospitality and film

Stranger: art and the foreigner (or the odd, eccentric and uncanny), art an=
d philosophy, multidisciplinary practice

Proposals
You are invited to submit either an abstract for an individual paper or a p=
roposal for a panel of papers on a theme relevant the conference as describ=
ed above.  Please provide full contact details with your abstract or panel =
proposal.    The deadline for abstracts is Monday 29 March.

Abstracts for individual papers should be no longer than 250 words and prop=
osals for panels of three papers should be no longer than 500 words.  Pleas=
