[ecrea] Transnational Cinemas journal - call for papers

Mon Aug 03 21:38:15 GMT 2009

Transnational Cinemas is a new journal published by Intellect. Further information and the Editors' contact details can be found here: <http://www.intellectbooks.co.uk/journals/view-Journal,id=183/>http://www.intellectbooks.co.uk/journals/view-Journal,id=183/.

The journal has emerged in response to a shift in global film cultures and how we understand them. Dynamic new industrial and textual practices are being established throughout the world and the academic community is responding. This journal aims to break down traditional geographical divisions and welcomes submissions that reflect the changing nature of global filmmaking.

Transnational Cinemas covers a vast and diverse range of film-related subjects and provides a new and exciting forum for disseminating research. The editors welcome articles, interviews, visual essays, and reports on film festivals and conferences. Submissions should not exceed 6,000 words and should be written in English with all quotations translated. Thank you.
