[ecrea] 3rd CFP WEBIST-2009 (Lisboa - Portugal) - 5th Int'l Conference on Web Information Systems and Technologies

Tue Oct 14 21:07:46 GMT 2008

The International Conference on Web Information Systems and Technologies (WEBIST-2009) will be held in Lisboa - Portugal next year. WEBIST is a high profile world-class conference, well attended by prestigious researchers and distinguished keynote speakers who come to present their work annually since 2005 (see http://www.webist.org).

This conference has an open call for papers, with a regular paper submission deadline scheduled for October 29. We hope you may be able to submit a contribution with the results of your own research work by that date.

WEBIST is co-located with CSEDU, the International Conference on Computer Supported Education (http://www.csedu.org).

Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, in paper and in CD-ROM support. The proceedings will be indexed by several major international indexers, including INSPEC, DBLP and ISI Proceedings*SM. EI already agreed to index some of the VISIGRAPP past proceedings and VISIGRAPP-2009 will be considered by EI after their publication. Additionaly, a selection of the best papers of the conference will be published in a book, by Springer-Verlag.

Workshops and special sessions are also invited. If you wish to propose a workshop or a special session, for example based on the results of a specific research project, please contact the secretariat.

Looking forward to receiving you paper submission. Don't hesitate contacting me should you have any question.

Kind regards,
Bruno Encarnação
