Time use research has never been more popular in social sciences than 
today. The Harmonized European Time Use Survey launched in a large number 
of countries at the turn of the century illustrates this increased 
interest, also for policy use. Several other countries in the world, both 
in Western and non-Western societies have recently undertaken time use 
studies. Together with this concern for time use research, social 
scientists and statisticians are developing new methodologies to analyze 
and compare time use data sets that are produced. The 25th IATUR Conference 
wants to highlight all these new developments in time use research.

We are looking forward to welcome you at the 25th IATUR Conference on Time 
Use Research.
