[Commlist] Children’s Media Yearbook - Research Articles - Call

*Children’s Media Yearbook - Research Articles***

The Children’s Media Foundation
<https://www.thechildrensmediafoundation.org/> (CMF) are publishing a
Supplement to the annual Children’s Media Yearbook
<https://www.thechildrensmediafoundation.org/the-childrens-media-yearbook>
based entirely on research articles

The supplement is to be published to coincide with the Children’s Media
Conference
<https://www.thechildrensmediaconference.com/events/cmc-2027/> at the
Excel Centre, London (16-17 March). The book will be handed out free to
all CMC conference delegates and attendees at the new International
Exchange market

The theme of the publication is /Are the Kids Alright?/ and CMF is
seeking research articles that reflect the media lives of children and
how this impacts their real lives. This could be anything from their
viewing habits, mental health, education, social media, civic engagement
and everything in between

The articles can be extracts from existing research documents, as well
as discursive pieces that break down complex research into accessible,
engaging articles. New, unpublished research will be very welcome. Stats
and insights from them will be very valuable but not essential.

If you would like to submit or discuss a potential article or have any
questions, do contact the editor Terri Langan (Terri.Langan /at/ hello-halo.tv)
<mailto:(Terri.Langan /at/ hello-halo.tv)> by *9th October*. We would be
looking to receive finished articles by mid-November
