*
The conference will take place on *May 23 and 24, 2024*, *in

This conference is an opportunity to present the results of a research
project fundend by JPI Climate (https://change4climate.eu/
<https://change4climate.eu/>), and it offers a space for the
presentation of other research projects – in the field of human and
social sciences – on transition aimed at mitigating climate change and
managing its inevitable effects.
We welcome abstracts related to the following topics:
* *the analysis of obstacles and disincentives to actions and changes
in favor of climate change mitigation and adaptation, *
* *the research of ways and solutions to fight against these obstacles*.
We appreciate abstracts (in English or French) from different human and
social disciplinesand in particular those based on multi-disciplinary,
inter-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary approachesin this field.
In particular, analysis and (reflexive) presentation of concrete
actions, campaigns and devices aimed at overcoming obstaclesand
supporting transitionare very welcomed.
Abstracts for papers reporting on research should clearly outline aims,
method(s), and results.
Abstracts for conceptual papers should offer a presentation of how the
paper contributes to the field.
*Confirmed Keynote speakers: prof. Linda Steg (University of Groningen);
prof. Elodie Vargas (University of Grenoble Alpes).
*
A scientific publication is planned following the symposium; more
information will follow on this publication.
