Fully funded PhD - Women, Ageing, Machine Learning on Screen - Funded by a Leverhulme Trust Grant, deadline 1/12/23, start 1/2/24


School of Media and Communication


One full scholarship is available in the School of Media and Communication 2023/24 funded by the Leverhulme Trust for the Women, Ageing and Machine Learning on Screen Research Grant Project led by the University of Leeds with co-investigators at the University of Glasgow and University of Warwick. This scholarship is open to UK applicants and covers Home fees plus GBP 18,622 maintenance.


This fully funded PhD place provides an exciting opportunity to pursue postgraduate research in a cutting-edge field that brings together Media Archives and Artificial Intelligence with a focus on representation of women in film and television.
