The provisional programme and registration details for the Study Day 'Screen Comedy from the Coming of Sound to the SVOD era' organised by/French Screen Studies/with the generous support of the BAFTSS French and Francophone Cinema SIG at the University of Warwick on Saturday 14^th  October are now available here <https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/modernlanguages/news/events/french_screen_studies/> (and programme duplicated below).


This is a free event but please register*_by Wednesday 4^th  October_*to enable planning.


_Travel and Accommodation_

Warwick is a campus university about 4 miles from Coventry. There are regular trains every half-hour taking not much more than an hour between London Euston and Coventry, then either a taxi (c. 15 minute drive, c. £14) or a bus (assume 30-35 minutes depending on bus [12X is faster though]: seeTravel Directions to the University (warwick.ac.uk) <https://warwick.ac.uk/about/visiting/directions/>While the day is anticipated to last not longer than 10am-6pm to facilitate day-trips, there are also  accommodation options available at Warwick Conference accommodation for all budgets (warwick.ac.uk) <https://warwick.ac.uk/services/conferences/spaces/bedrooms/>
