*JCMR Releases Vol. 15, No. 1, Special Issue 3, July 2023 *

We are pleased to announce the release of Volume 15, Number 1, Special Issue 3 (July 2023) of the /Journal of Communication and Media Research/ (JCMR), the flagship journal of the Association of Media and Communication Researchers of Nigeria (AMCRON). This is the journal’s 32^nd issue since it started publication in 2009. Every issue has been released regularly and on schedule in April and October of every year plus two special occasional issues. This is the third special occasional issue.

The Volume 15, Number 1, Special Issue 3, July 2023 issue focuses on *Digital Communication, Journalism and Democratic Governance**.*The issue contains 20 articles written by 35 authors (34 from Nigeria and one from Germany).

Printed hard copies are available for sale while the online versions of the abstracts and full articles have been uploaded onto our website. All the Abstracts and Articles of this issue (and all other published issues - a total of 512 full articles in 32 issues from April 2009 to July 2023) are available for free access and free download at our website. *Sanusi, Mukaila Olabamiji,*is a Deputy Director, Public Affairs in the Lagos State Public Service of Nigeria. He has served in the Ministry of Information and Strategy, Ministry of the Environment and Lagos State Pension Commission. He set up the Public Affairs office in the newly created Office of Overseas Affairs and Investment (Lagos Global).

*Suleiman, Hassan Biodun, Ph.D.,* is a Senior Lecturer and the Sub–Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Lagos State University, Ojo Lagos, Nigeria. He has interest in acquiring skills in different aspects of media and information technology, legislative studies, local and international history.

*Usman, Bashiru*is a lecturer at Department of Mass Communication, Adamawa State Polytechnic, Yola, Nigeria. He is interested in Digital Media (Social and New Media) and Society, Media Literacy and Journalism. **

*Yar’Adua, Suleiman Mainasara, Ph.D.,* is an Associate Professor of Mass Communication, and former Head of Department, Mass Communication as well as pioneer Deputy Dean, Faculty of Communication, and pioneer Director BUK FM (Campus Radio Station), Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria. His areas of research interest are, Investigative Journalism, Peace Journalism, and Development Journalism.
