The Department of Social Communication, Universidad de Concepción 
(Chile), is looking for candidates for the following preferred areas:

Vacancy 1: New media and journalistic formats (full time)

Vacancy 2: Storytelling and/or writing (full time)

Vacancy 3: Production of journalistic content (full time)

Vacancy 4: Science Communication (full time)

Requirements:

Professional title: Journalist.

Academic degree: Doctor in Communication, Journalism, or related area.

Availability: 01/08/2023.

Excellent proficiency in spoken and written Spanish.

Experience:

- Proven experience in the media and in university teaching.

- Productivity in accordance with the CNA guidelines for doctoral 
programme faculty in the area of Social, Political and Communication 
Sciences (35 points). Link located in the attached file of the

General duties:

- Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

- Preparation and development of research projects.

- Carry out assigned functions in accordance with the policies that link 
the university with the environment.

b. Legalized copy of Academic Degrees.

c. Three contacts of work references.

d. Academic Proposal of Insertion in the Department (research and 
teaching project).

The position will be based in the city of Concepción, Chile.
