This two-day virtual conference seeks to explore the reporting
challenges thrown up by Putin’s government following its invasion of
Ukraine and discuss the way forward for both journalists and
policymakers. It brings together a host of reporters and academics, with
a keynote address by Derk Sauer, founder of/The Moscow Times/. Other
guests include Galina Timchenko,/Meduza/'s co-founder; Peter Conradi of
the Sunday Times; Kate de Pury of the European Broadcasting Union,
Stephanie Baker from/Bloomberg ,///Dr Jonathan Sanders from Stony Brook
University, Dr Stephen Jones from the Davis Center at Harvard
University, Dr Beth Knobel from Fordham University, Prof Sam Greene from
King's College and many others.
